| Distance from the center of Waikiki - 4.9 miles Manoa Waterfall is located in the back of Manoa Valley, a beautiful, lush valley with giant trees and bamboo forests. Several scenes from the TV show LOST were filmed here, as were parts of Jurassic Park. The road up Manoa Valley has a few uphill sections and ends in a parking lot where you can park your bike and continue up the trail on foot. The hike to the waterfall takes around 40 minutes and can be muddy so wear sneakers. On the way back, Manoa shopping center offers plenty of great food, drinks and snacks and is a great place to stop and recharge before heading back to Waikiki. |
